Club Donations
Earlier in 2017, the Sumter Landing Bicycle Club (SLBC) made a $300 donation to one of our favorite ride rest stops, the Girl Scouts Camp in Wildwood. Over the past 12 years, Villagers, including SLBC members, have donated money, bicycles, camp signs, and benches. On occasion, they have also helped with maintenance and other activities including painting, maintaining the bicycles, and constructing a temporary horse shelter. The SLBC has made small donations to the camp and has on occasion organized efforts at the camp.
Personal Donations
From an organizational standpoint the Girl Scout camp is part of the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida that is in Tampa, Florida. If you want to make a personal donation that is earmarked for the local camp please do the following:
