December 6, 2019, 8 to noon. Lake Miona Rec Center parking lot. Join in to help make a better Christmas season for disadvantaged children and adults living in Sumter County. A tradition for over a decade, the Sumter County Sheriff's bike collection has helped over 250 residents per year by providing bicycles for fun and in many cases transportation to and from work. You don't need to be a bike mechanic. Members answer phones, pick up bikes from Villager's homes, wash, air tires (we have a compressor), test ride, adjust, fix and load reconditioned bike onto trailers.
