Santos Trail Ride & Picnic

This ALL PACE RIDE and PICNIC  features a bring your own picnic and a trail ride on the paved, tree canopied, 15.7 mile, Santos Bicycle Trail. The trail passes the Florida Horse Park at the 5.0 mile mark and crosses high above I-75 on the Landbridge. The trail has strategically placed restrooms and is in large part flat. Registration is required and participation is limited to 36.

The ride is suitable for  Social, C and B level riders. Ride at your own pace. Faster riders leave the start area before slower riders. There is a 20 mph speed limit on the trail.  Riders begin riding at 9:30 AM and return to the picnic area by noon. Riding to the end of the paved trail at CR 200 is 15.7 miles one way.  Please arrive in the pavilion area by 9:00 AM and be ready to ride away at 9:30 AM.

The picnic area features covered pavilions with new, metal seats and tables. Each picnicker is responsible for bringing everything he/she needs. There are restrooms, potable water and charcoal grills in the picnic area.
