H4H Big Bike Weekend - Bicycle Challenge

2019 Bicycle Challenge 2

2019 Hearts for Our Hospital / Big Bike Weekend
5th Annual Bicycle Challenge!!

With 5 route options to select from (10, 20, 32, 64 and 100-mile distances), it's time to pull on your spandex, lace up the shoes and strap on the helmet!  Welcome to the fifth edition of the Hearts for Our Hospital Bicycle Challenge.  We welcome back Quest Diagnostics and David's World Cycle as our Title Sponsors and look forward to another great ride.  We will be welcoming a few new sponsors as well, so stay tuned as those opportunities get finalized.  Oh, and don't worry, RJ Gator's Das Krankenhaus Biergarten will be back - and with a surprise!

Registration is required for this event and handled through CAAM Events and Race Roster.  To register, click on the "Register Now" button and off you will go.  Registration fees do increase over time, so the earlier you register, the less you will pay.

This signature event on our Club's calendar marks our commitment to giving back to the community in which we live, work and play.  Well, at least live and play - isn't retirement grand!!  Through the active participation of our club member as riders, fundraisers and volunteers, we play a vital role in helping The Villages Regional Hospital Auxiliary Foundation to achieve two of its key goals:  assisting The Villages Regional Hospital with the acquisition of important capital equipment needs and the funding of Medical Education Scholarships for area high school students pursuing degree programs in the medical and allied health related fields.   To date, the Foundation has awarded 88 scholarships.  These scholarships automatically renew for the students each year so long as they remain in good standing with their respective colleges and universities - just one less thing for them to worry about.
