31st Annual Intracoastal Waterway Century (ICWC)

Dubbed "The most scenic ride in Florida" (albeit by the event organizers!) the Intracoastal Waterway Century is a destination ride to be enjoyed by all levels of cyclists.  Many of your fellow SLBC riders have traveled to Cocoa Village on the Space Coast to participate in this well run event.  There are 5 route options: Double Metric Century (124 miles!), English Century, Metric Century, Half-Metric Century and a Family Fun ride that is 14 miles.  The longer distances will take you over multiple causeways as you make you way from the main land out to the barrier island and back.  You will travel along scenic roads including North and South Tropical Trail and Banana River Dr.!  You will also be treated to views of the Kennedy Space Center as you pedal up and over the NASA Causeway.

Now is the time to be thinking about getting this on your calendar and checking to see who also might be interested in doing this ride from the SLBC.  If registration has not opened yet for the ride, keep checking back on the CAAM Events website.
