Sheriff's Bike Collection 2025
About this event
Annual Sumter County Sheriff's Bike Collection will be held at the Lake Miona Recreation Center parking lot. Please join us in helping to make this Christmas season better for disadvantaged children and adults living in Sumter County. A tradition for two decades, the Sumter County Sheriff's Bike Collection has helped over 250 residents per year by providing bicycles for children and in some cases transportation for working adults. You don't need to be a bike mechanic. Members transport bikes from Villager's homes, wash bikes, air tires (we have compressors), test ride, adjust, fix and load new and reconditioned bikes onto trailers. In addition, this year the Sheriff’s Office has received substantial funding for the bike collection from Villages residents.
