SLBC Eastport Wednesday C Ride!
We will depart promptly from the FLAGPOLE at the Olympia Recreation Center softball parking lot at 9am.
Weather for tomorrow looks seasonal with temperatures in mid 70s winds mild <10 mph at the start. As always a cancellation notice will be sent by 8am tomorrow morning, if necessary.
Distance will be 28 ish miles with a pace of 14-16 mph.
GPS link, I urge everyone to load this route to your GPS device. Additionally, please have working flashing lights front and back. You also need to hydrate well BEFORE the ride.
Special Note from the Club;
SLBC General Membership Meeting, Monday, May 4th, Eisenhower Rec Center, Door open at 6:30 PM, meeting starts at 7:00 PM. Stan Zielinski will discuss his January 9bicycle accident involving a golf cart and a C6 vertebrae fracture. He will cover the incident, his recovery process, and important lessons regarding major and minor expenses.
